Emaline graduated from Christ Presbyterian Academy in May 2023 and is a soon-to-be graduate at The Belonging Co College and working towards her CPT for personal training. Growing up in Traceside, she will turn 20 in July and swam with the Barracudas for 11 years and with CPA for 3 years. This will be her second year as Head Coach, following 3 years as an assistant coach for the team. In addition to coaching for the Barracudas, Emaline has also been coaching the Bellevue YMCA swim team since Sept 2021. She serves as the Aquatics Coordinator at the YMCA, helping to manage the pool area and teaching swim lessons.
Throughout her time with the Barracudas, both as a swimmer and a coach, Emaline has made so many friendships. She loves working with kids, babysitting, and seeing young swimmers grow under her instruction. She is so excited for this upcoming season!
Emaline has limited availability this summer for private lessons, but encourages families to reach out to both Cutler and Jacob for assistance in building their little ones’ skills. Feel free to contact her via email or text (615-715-6847) for any other needs.

Cutler will be a graduate of Nashville Christian School in May 2025 and is excited to attend the University of Tennessee in the fall. Cutler has been swimming competitively since he was 5 years old and spent 4 years doing travel swim. This will be his first year coaching for the Barracudas, but he comes with much experience, including coaching the Bellevue YMCA Hurricanes as well as serving as assistant coach for one of the largest established NSL teams last summer.
Cutler enjoys coaching and seeing kids develop to their full potential in swim and is excited to be returning to the “BEST SIDE!”
Cutler is available for private swim lessons over the summer. He’s been teaching private lessons for all ages and every skill for two years now. If you’d like to discuss customized lessons, please feel free to contact him via email or text (629-203-9330).

Jacob has lived in Traceside since he was 3 years old. He is turning 18 in July and began swimming on the Barracudas at age 4, now entering his 13th year swimming on the Traceside team! This will be his second year as an Assistant Coach and he’s really looking forward to the opportunity to instruct and mentor young swimmers again this summer.
Swimming has always been a passion of Jacob’s and something he’s excelled at. He’s achieved multiple Top 5 finishes at City Meet over the years, including placing in 1st overall at age 10! Jacob participates in a variety of different sports throughout the year, so while that doesn’t allow him the time to swim year-round, the beginning of every summer is always bring excitement to get back in the water and compete with friends in the neighborhood. He hopes to instill this same excitement in young swimmers.
